As a Radar Signal Processing Engineer, your tasks may include:
Working in detailed high fidelity simulations written in C/C++ and Matlab, to develop, prototype, and test radar sensor models and radar signal processing algorithms
Working in anechoic chamber and field test environments to test, verify, and validate radar sensor
Working in all phases of missile radar development from program start up to live fire test, to provide engineering support by participating in project design reviews and peer reviews, including technical briefings to internal leadership and external customers
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
BS degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
Two years of work experience in radar, communications, or RF design or radar systems analysis or signal processing (or MS degree in Engineering, Science or Math with academic experience and graduated over 18 months ago)
Working knowledge of Matlab and one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, or Python
Experience running and modifying tactical simulations, including embedded tactical code
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop and present a comprehensive technical briefing
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Must pass a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.
