Raytheon Global Business Services (GBS) has an opening for a Facility Operations Specialist in Dallas, TX. Position focus is on preventive maintenance and repair on all facilities related equipment and infrastructure including HVAC, Refrigeration and Building Controls. Rotating shifts in order to cover site Facilities operations 24/7/365.
Perform Mechanical maintenance and repair on Facilities Infrastructure and equipment including HVAC, Chilled Water and DX, Air Compressors, Boilers, Pumps, Generators, Vacuum Pump Systems , VFD's and Process Control PLC
Perform electrical and controls troubleshooting and repair including PLC and Building Automation Systems. Includes Operating and monitoring of the site Central Utility Plant.
This position periodically rotates with Team Mates on nights and days, including our compressed shift, which includes 12 hour shifts required to cover the site 24/7/365
Required Skills: Minimum 8+ years related experience
In depth understanding of refrigeration cycle
Knowledge of Central plant equipment operations and controls
Electrical and controls troubleshooting and repair
Safe Work and hazard assessment
Mechanical maintenance and repair of Air Handling, pumps, motors, valve operations, VFDs and VAVs
Good Team Dynamics
Basic Computer Skills
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
Direct experience with Siemens and JCI front end BAS controls
Computer knowledge and skills
Fire Protections systems and alarms
Two Year Technical Associates Degree
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
