Position:  863-Navy Logistics SME Type:  Full Time Location:  Virginia Beach, Virginia

FTI is currently looking for a Navy Logistics SME in Virginia Beach as follows:

  • Providing research and analysis of organic repair capability of all ships in the Navy,
  • Accessing and utilizing a wide variety of logistic programs to assist in determining Material and Logistics Organic Repair confidence

Programs include but are not limited to:

  • Navy Data Environment,
  • Configuration Data Manager Database-Open Architecture,
  • Integrated Logistics Support Module,
  • Account Management and Provisioning System,
  • Naval Ships Engineering Drawing Repositories,
  • Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System,
  • Planned Maintenance System Management Information System,
  • Technical Data Management Information System,
  • Re-Engineered Maritime Allowance Program,
  • Open Architecture Retrieval System,
  • Haystack,
  • LogiQuest,
  • WebFLIS, and
  • OneTouch Supply.
  • Performing equipment validation and record data through the use of the Platforms Organizational Maintenance Management System Next-Generation, Relational Supply, Advance Technical Information System, Planned Maintenance System Maintenance Index Page Maintenance Requirement Card, Maintenance Scheduling Program (SKED 3.2)
  • Consolidating data that is reported in multiple methods and formats, disparate data sources, identify and rectify gaps between the data programs
  • Preparing reports for delivery to the Fleet Commander and In Service Engineering Agent as necessary,
  • Researching and locating materials, technical manuals, tools and repair parts,
  • Providing inventory reports and maintenance of an electronic library of data items by ship class,
  • Recommending Program improvements to the Project Manager
  • Other duties assigned.

Experience

  • Former U.S. Navy Supply LS or former 3M Coordinator E6 or above
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Experience with and understanding of Navy Part Procurements and 3M programs afloat and ashore
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
  • Potential travel up-to 10%
