Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the supervision and management of security operations at Global Headquarters in Waltham, MA. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Industrial Security, the chosen candidate will have security responsibility for the site to include fulfilling the role of Facility Security Officer (FSO) and leading a matrixed team of security professionals to ensure all aspects of the site security program are compliant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) and manage SAP and SCI accredited spaces.
  • Serve as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) and execute the program for the Waltham location.
  • Administer the company programs for handling and safeguarding classified and proprietary information.
  • Oversee the company program for Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI).
  • Conduct self-inspections and coordinates with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspection/audits of security programs and systems.
  • Write policy and procedures to enforce compliance with government and Company requirements.
  • Investigate security incidents and prepare reports detailing procedures to preclude future occurrences.
  • Coordinate with government agencies to obtain authorizations, interpretations, and acceptable deviations with regulations.
  • Ensure an effective security education program.
  • Provide security management for Special Program, Temporary Secure Working Area (TSWA) in accordance with DoDM 5205.07, V1-4.
  • Provide security management for the Intelligence Community (IC) Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) in accordance with appropriate Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs).
  • Provide support to the Raytheon Senior Leadership team and Board of Directors for collateral, SAP, and SCI to include reporting requirements, briefings, and on-site meetings.
  • Administer COMSEC management for collateral, SAP, and SCI programs.




Required skills:
  • Facility Security Officer Certification for possessing facilities.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in managing and implementing an industrial security program with extensive knowledge of the NISPOM, JPAS, and associated government security databases.
  • Experience working in team-orientated and collaborative environment with the ability to engage and influence a variety of individuals internal to the company as well as external customers and industry contacts.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience working with senior level management.
  • 8+ years related experience in the security and/or law enforcement field.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated.
  • Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
  • U.S. Citizenship is needed as a Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI access is required for this role.

  • Working knowledge of Special Access Program site management and program administration IAW DoDM 5205.07, Vol 1-4
  • Working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives ICDs as it applies to managing a SCIF and associated activities to ensure compliance.
  • Strong physical security skills and experience with construction of secure spaces IAW ICD 705 standards
  • Experience conducting investigations
  • Professional Certifications/Affiliations

Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or other security related field from an accredited University or College
