The Melbourne water team has a variety of

immediate secured work and future opportunities in the pipeline.

We deliver electrical design services for the

Victorian Metropolitan and Regional water authorities, and for industrial

clients. We are currently engaged on multiple long term panel contracts with

Victorian and national water authorities. This provides a very broad range of

opportunities across all disciplines.

We are seeking a Mechanical

Engineer with 4 to 8 years’ experience in the water sector. The preferred

applicant will have a mix of design and construction experience on water and

wastewater treatment facilities, transfer systems and pumping stations. We are

seeking a person with broad cross discipline knowledge. Site engineering

experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

·

Performing a Project Manager role on small to medium

sized projects

·

Performing a Project Engineer role on significant

projects

·

Undertaking technical design tasks and assisting graduate

engineers

·

Site engineering roles including inspections,

construction phase assistance and commissioning

·

Managing bids for prospective projects

·

Building strong relationships with key client personnel

and identifying and developing business opportunities

Requirements

·

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)

·

Eligibility for membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia

(CPEng well regarded)

·

4 to 8 years’ experience within the water sector on

investigations, design, and site engineering

·

Knowledge of water sector standards and practices strongly

preferred

·

Ability to build relationships and maintain rapport with

clients

·

Strong technical design and writing skills.
