Job Description:
We have an immediate need for a financial professional to join the Global Business Services, Strategic Affordability Analysis team. Providing overall financial support for the SAS and IIS Divisions of Supply Chain and Estimating & Pricing organizations. This individual will provide leadership and vision in our Strategic Affordability Analysis organization on complex pursuits. will have a direct impact on Raytheon’s competitive posture in the defense market place and customer satisfaction. For these reasons, a strong background in leadership, financial planning, cost accounting, estimating, and analytical techniques desired.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and protect Raytheon bookings by completing independent assessments of fair and reasonable supplier pricing. (reports of approx. 10-12 pages in length)
  • Conduct financial fact finding audits at Raytheon partner subcontract sites; interfacing with high level internal and external management.
  • Performing peer reviews of SAA reports for junior analysts, before they are released
  • Function as our main liaison with the local DCMA/DCMA auditors tracking and monitoring outstanding government audits and function as a backup for the compliance manager as needed
  • Coordinate monthly Operations Report metrics for both the IIS & SAS divisions
    Provide financial assessment of supplier proposed pricing through proposal analysis, historical financial analysis of supplier P&L and Balance sheet statements.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations and provide financial counsel to RTN Program office and Supply Chain team by providing what-if scenarios to achieve RTN program profitability targets.
  • Discussing and supporting their findings with Government auditors and contracting officers.
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations

Required Skills:

•Strong knowledge of federal compliance regulations, including FAR, and DFAR
•Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
Advanced skills in financial modeling using such tools as Excel is mandatory.
•Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams by influencing without authority.
• Ability to work seamlessly across various organizations and businesses, with customers in all major Raytheon locations.
•Ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems of significant scope and complexity


Desired Skills:

•Desire to participant as a dynamic team member by applying your business and financial skills to help SAA obtain its goal of becoming a world class organization. Penchant for driving change at Ramp Speed.
•Knowledge of financial systems and tools such as SAP, BW and database mining software is a plus.
•Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations


Required Education and Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/management/engineering or related field required with a minimum of 8 years related finance experience 6 years related experience with an applicable related Masters' degree.
