This is an opportunity to join the Persistent & Surveillance Sensors Directorate of the Mission Systems and Sensors Business Area as the SRP/SGP/ROTHR Portfolio Business Manager. You will lead the management of cost control, schedule and EVMS compliance and execution for the program. As the Business Manager you will be a key member of the Program Leadership Team and lead and influence the various Raytheon and Partner Execution Teams. The selected individual will be responsible for all aspects of Business Management and oversight of all finance activities including review of financial forecasts, Earned Value reporting, Joint Surveillance Reviews, EAC’s, funding analysis, proposals/ECP’s, negotiations and gate support for the Program. The individual will lead a finance team of 5-6 analyst.
This position requires proactive leadership and significant partnership with the Program Area Director, Program Manager, and Technical teams to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating and financial objectives as well as being responsible for all elements of financial interaction with Customer representatives. This position will also have significant exposure to senior leadership at both the MSS and IDS levels.
The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of programs and work with all levels of the organization. Position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management as well as execute hands on and driving result threw empowering finance team. As a strategic business partner, the successful candidate will collaborate with to ensure the successful execution of quarterly EACs, monthly Operating Reviews, as well as AOP forecasting and maintenance. The candidate will ensure the finance team is well respected as a valued business partner. This position reports directly to the Senior Business Manager of the Persistent & Surveillance Sensors Directorate.
Candidate will work in a challenging and fast paced team environment. Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of leadership (both internally and externally) will require the successful candidate to possess strong presentation and communication skills, and be able to operate successfully across multiple geographic locations and diverse performing organizations.
·8+ years applicable work experience in Financial Management and Programs
·Experience managing Fixed Price Incentive Fee Programs
·Management/Leadership experience on high visibility projects and programs
·Experience with current DoD regulations associated with FAR/DFARS/TINA/CAS
·Hands-On experience on DFARS EV Programs and SAP EV / PMX Toolset
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills and public speaking
·Strong problem-solving and decision making skills
·Demonstrated ability to interact, influence and or lead diverse teams at Business Area, Business or Company levels
·Knowledge of Raytheon Company cost structures, Program Financial Analysis, FP&A, EVMS, EAC, Contract Billings, and Proposal Processes.
·Strategic thinking and ability to implement new and diverse initiatives
·Ability to work in a fast paced environment
·Self-starter, motivated individual not requiring daily direction / management
·BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related business field
