Opportunities currently exist within SADID's Missile Defense and Sensor Solutions Department. This SADID department provides system engineering, solutions and expertise to the Missile Defense programs within IDS. The Woburn, MA, engineering site currently has a need for Systems Engineers with demonstrated technical accomplishments who have a business or engineering process focus. The ideal candidate will understand the product design process used on Department of Defense programs, earned value management, and program management processes.


Job Description
System Engineers in this
position will be responsible for control account management for systems engineering tasks, analysis of program performance through the use of productivity metrics, and development of robust proposals for future programs. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with multi-discipline development teams across multiple locations to support assigned programs and products.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics and 8(+) years of experience in the field of engineering or related technical discipline
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
  • Detail-oriented self-starter who can function independently
  • Strong analytical background
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to develop, document, and maintain processes, methods, and tools
  • Enthusiastic proponent of metrics-based management with a passion for excellence
Desired Qualifications
  • Active DoD Security Clearance
  • Prior experience with Department of Defense Radar Design and Development programs
  • Certification in Earned Value Management
  • Experience in developing bases of estimate for engineering labor proposals
  • Knowledge of and ability to work within the Agile Scrum development process
