Global Security Services CI&I Threat Analyst
Job Description: This position is part of the Raytheon Global Security Services (GSS) Counterintelligence and Investigations (CI&I) organization charged with providing proactive, actionable threat intelligence through trend identification, data analysis, report writing concerning, counterintelligence, work place incidents, terrorism, and acts of espionage to all global security disciplines. The GSS CI&I Threat Analyst is a key member of a team that delivers strategic data and predictive analytics to business leaders to help identify and convey (i.e. visualize) insider threat and threat management events to our business. This will require working with various security and cyber analysts in expanding and maintaining the framework for the overall insider threat and risk intelligence program.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Identifying, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating information from multiple data sources
Notifying decision makers and global security disciplines about events and incidents that could impact Raytheon derived from various business tools, internal and external data sets, and other sources
Conduct analyses through the use of advanced analytical and visualization tools, counterintelligence methodologies, network theory, and business intelligence analysis of security data to predict threats and vulnerabilities
Develop processes, procedures, and notifications to analyze and measure security risk and implement appropriate risk mitigation methodologies
Study historical data, researches trends, and analyzes effects of decisions or events to evaluate threats to business assets
Manages various analytical tools and information systems to identify and follow trends in order to provide actionable intelligence to key business leaders
Preparing meaningful, actionable threat reports using threat data to help drive risk management and mitigation strategies.
Required Experience, Skills & Education:
Minimum 6 years’ experience in counterintelligence, counterterrorism or law enforcement background
Ability to identify requirements from multiple data sources and develop executable action plans
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail orientated and focused
Extensive experience with intelligence reporting, analytics and analytical report writing
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active top secret U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Desired Experience, Skills & Education:
Experience with intelligence reporting, analytics and analytical report writing, and visualization software
Experience with database management systems, data warehousing, query language, reporting generators
Prior US Government (USG or USIC) Counterintelligence or law enforcement community is highly desired
Previous experience with Insider Threat/Threat Management data analysis
The ability to work effectively with people in various functions, programs, and business concentrations
Presentation and leadership briefing skills
Prior experience with USC or USIC systems is a plus
Strong working knowledge of open source data bases and commercially-available analytic and/or detection systems is highly desirable
