Raytheon Company is seeking a strong candidate to join the International Payroll Team as a Payroll Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of monthly payrolls and taxes for multiple international sites. The International Payroll team is a fast paced, high volume, metrics driven, team oriented environment which is focused on individual and team performance as well as continuous improvement.
Performs all activities necessary to process ~7 international payrolls, including maintaining related records, processing deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures.
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Audit, analyze, identify and edit inconsistencies between HR and Payroll systems
Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
Support compliance monitoring, issue tracking and resolution, and statutory filing management.
Provide excellent customer service
Recognize opportunities and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and ensure quality
Working knowledge of payroll best practices
Strong PC Skills including proficiency in Excel
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Must be able to retain confidentiality of all transactions
Knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft 9.2, SAP, and other Accounting Systems
Prior experience with 3rd Party Payroll providers (ADP and Safeguard World International)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is a plus
Ability to speak and read a foreign language
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related field and 0 – 2 years applicable experience
