The Program Analyst will conduct staff administrative analytical and evaluative work related to program operations, and management and organizational efficiency and productivity to support resource management advisory efforts for Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA)
Analyze and evaluate (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of MoD/MoI programs in meeting established goals and objectives.
Monitor, evaluate and assist in the section’s information systems and logistics administration.
Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices for application to GIRoA or coalition program operations.
Analyze GIRoA and/or coalition information management requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including system specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology.
Identify or develop data required for use in the management and direction of programs.
Develop procedures and systems for establishing, operating, and assessing the effectiveness of administrative control systems such as those designed to prevent waste, loss, unauthorized use, or misappropriation of assets.
Analyze the atmospherics of the Afghan Security Institutions to include planning of movements and conduct of ministerial level engagements.
Serve as SME to advisors in the Resolute Support (RS) command for all EF3 activities managed in the Security Force Assistance (SFA) center to include focused and targeted analysis on the problems in the EF3 Rule of Law area.
Coordinate and fuse cross-pillar activity support of EF# SFA center activities
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
Possess advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; VBA a plus.
Experience working at the strategic level within DoD or other security related government entity is desired.
Experience & Education
Five years working experience in related field with ten years being desirable.
Must have a final (not interim) SECRET Level Security DoD Clearance before deployment and must maintain that clearance
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Must pass all medical and fitness requirements directed by US Central Command (CENTCOM) in order to deploy.
Must be able to operate in harsh and austere conditions of Afghanistan
Must be capable of daily travel in and around Kabul as well as to locations throughout Afghanistan.
