The Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) Finance Team in El Segundo, CA is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analysis to join our team.

This position will support the financial responsibilities for the Family of Systems 2 (FoS-2) program within the Next Gen Radar and Platforms (NGRP) area. This team member will be responsible for supporting quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Earned Value Management which will require you to partner with other functional leads and perform analysis providing informed business decisions.

You will be responsible for preparing various analyses to ensure accurate reporting and early warning of issues. Analyses include risks and opportunities, and variances to plan and forecast. Other responsibilities include consolidating financial data for various reviews including the monthly Program Management Review (PMR), weekly Short Range Outlook (SRO) for financial forecasts, weekly/monthly customer meetings and various levels of internal leadership meetings. You will also be responsible for continuing to identify ways to improve processes and further levels of efficiency.

In addition to supporting the FoS-2 program activities, you will assist the NGRP product area with monthly forecasting and AOP and 5 Year Planning activities. Also, you will engage with the NGRP FP&A lead supporting the update of financial forecasts in RPlan, Raytheon’s excel-based forecasting tool.

This NGRP finance position provides an excellent opportunity for someone to continue to develop their EAC skillset including reporting and participation in reviews. This position also provides opportunities to continue to develop their FP&A skills at a business level.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of related finance experience
  • Experience in providing financial and business support for contract activities
  • Excellent desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of financial statements
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and create and accurately analyze cost data
  • Good organizational skills in coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Engineering, etc.) in program financial planning and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal communication
  • Experience in organizing, preparing and presenting analysis
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
