The general manager of Common Factory Test Platforms (CFTP) will lead the Raytheon Missile Systems multi-discipline Engineering & Operations joint-venture chartered to implement and provide life-cycle support of common test environments for all RMS factories. With support from the Operations Engineering & Support Director and the Systems Test Director, the CFTP general manager is empowered to reduce stand-alone custom test environments across all RMS factories.
The general manager is responsible for establishing and executing to goals that align with Operations and Engineering strategies while making a positive impact on factory, program, and product line performance. The general manager will lead factory test roadmap collaboration with other RMS functions and RTN business units to achieve company goals and objectives supporting the transition to common factory test environments. The general manager establishes and monitors policies and governing processes to ensure effectiveness and compliance within the organization.
The general manager is responsible for partnering with supporting functional organizations to adequately staff to meet factory and program requirements according to planned direct and indirect budgets.
Minimum of 12 years of related experience including 5 years of recent management experience leading moderate size organization consisting of engineers and/or manufacturing test support personnel.
Demonstrated ability to comfortably interact with executive leadership and collaborate with directors of various disciplines and organizations.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
Demonstrated technical/engineering experience with emphasis in factory test or test design environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing engineering tools and processes across the product life cycle.
Experience in financial planning and budgeting skills (overhead, cost controls).
Knowledge of program management tools such as earned value, basis of estimate development, and project planning.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Cross functional acumen in Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering
Active DOD secret security clearance.
Demonstrated experience with test systems design tools and processes across the product life cycle.
Demonstrated experience in effective talent development.
Knowledge of the PRISM shop floor system and data analysis tools, such as FAST and WebDRAGON.
Knowledge in risk identification and assessment.
