Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Systems Administrator, in Chantilly, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.
The IOS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customer’s success is driving our growth.
The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing a full range of IT support services to customer activities including client/server environment services. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of Server and Client functions in Windows Server 2008r2/2012r2 and Windows 10environments to include Active Directory, DNS, GPO’s, PKI and Auditing. Extensive experience in Information Assurance in support of ICD-503 compliance as it relates to building client images for deployment, and Tier 1-3 support. Administration of Linux systems integration into Windows Security Domains using LDAP for centralized user accounts and security group access.
Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
•Experience with RAID, SAN, NAS, high availability, backup and disaster recovery.
•Configuration, migration and O&M of server applications such as WSUS, SharePoint, Lync.
•Experience with system monitoring tools: Solar Winds, Nessus, Retina, Desktop Authority.
•Perform maintenance, repair and upgrade of hardware; interfacing with enterprise support.
•Research and order hardware/software to meet customer requirements.
•Experience in setup/configuration of network devices, both copper and fiber.
•Perform administration functions of Linux to include network services.
•Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes to Linux systems.
•Installation and configuring new hardware and software on Linux systems.
•Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc. on Linux systems.
•Installation and configuration of Apache Web Services (and SSL), Apache Tomcat, and MySQL.
•Understanding of PHP, phpMyAdmin, shell scripting, Webmin utilities for web based management.
•Responsible for security of the systems to include scans, patching, daily log review/maintenance and system health checks to satisfy continuous monitoring.
•Responsible for documenting the configuration of the systems.
•Provide superior customer service; possess strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer centric environment.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Active/current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.
