We are seeking current/upcoming college graduates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting-edge technology to design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing. Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.
The Mission Computers and Processors Department designs digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units which are supported from proposal through transition to production. Our systems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space, to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths.
A Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) candidate with interests, studies, research or experience with technical theories and concepts in digital design, with general knowledge of other related disciplines.The REA provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.This position will function in a multi-disciplined design team.As an REA the candidate will be responsible for hardware design, fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of a circuit card.Designs include processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, UART.Candidates will work with technical lead to determine and develop solutions that contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.
All Candidates will work within a larger team at Raytheon.An REA performs meaningful engineering tasks for their assigned projects, but will also have access to a variety of career development opportunities.These include access to technical mentors and the ability to “shadow” experienced Raytheon professionals in order to better learn about real industry positions.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment
Course work in one or more of the following areas: circuit design, digital electronics, lab course work, PCB design and signal integrity. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Desired Education (including Major):
Pursuing or have obtained within the past 18 months a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is desired.

The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
