Raytheon IIS’ Hardware and Infrastructure (HW&I) Engineering group seeks a qualified System Deployment Lead with experience leading large-scale data center deployments. The qualified candidate will lead a team delivering, integrating, and transitioning to operations complex compute systems built using DevOps technologies. Occasional travel to customer sites for site surveys and installation of new equipment will be needed. An active US Government TS/SCI clearance and US Citizenship is required as of day one for this position.
NOTE: Candidates with a current Top Secret Security Clearance or higher are eligible for a $20,000 sign on bonus if the clearance is confirmed and you're hired by Raytheon.
•Active US Government TS/SCI security clearance and US Citizenship required
•Experience working with site data center management staff to perform site surveys and develop finding reports and installation drawings
•Experience developing and reporting status on deployment plans, including schedule, staffing, CDRL deliveries, etc.
•Ability to effectively task team members to execute to schedule in a dynamic work environment
•General knowledge of common infrastructure hardware (compute, network, and storage)
•Experience in rack assembly, including cable plant installation
• Experience with developing Bill of Materials (BOMs) for COTS hardware assemblies, including interfacing with procurement and logistics
•Able to travel on occasion, domestically or internationally for up to 4 weeks
•6 years of related work experience
•Generalized experience in system administration (virtualization, compute, network, storage)
•Familiarity with IC data center facilities and processes
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 6 years of related work experience or 14 years of related work experience in lieu of a STEM degree
