  • Maintain infrastructure standardization; enforce policies and procedures, database operations, change management, new technology implementation for improvements, providing expertise recommendations for new requirements and issues, application support, and domain support
  • Evaluate and recommend new information technology according to IT plan and strategy to proactively support system owners
  • Develop, implement and maintain strategic plan for the infrastructure portfolio and technology solutions in the areas of networking, security, office applications, servers, and Cloud services
  • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of new information technology according to the IT plan and strategy to proactively support system owners
  • Architect SQL Server auditing tool and implement including database design, ETL package, SSRS report and automation of the process
  • Architect and implementation of SQL meta data collection of SQL Server inventory, configurations and performance Statistics for trend analysis and operations support for better manageability
  • Naming standardization support including database platform, server, domain groups, service accounts, etc…,

    • Domain groups and service account creation, DNS and SPN setup support as needed
    • VMWare templates for host build standardization and support
    • Manage IT infrastructure following ITIL standards or best practices related to IT infrastructure, operations and processes
    • Management of the total life cycle of IT infrastructure services and its inter-related services from strategy development through to retirement
    • Ensure that end to end SLRs are agreed and delivered
    • Effective ongoing communication with the system owner, end user and other IT teams such that opportunities are taken to improve infrastructure service, overall service delivery, and cost control
    • Steer and manage IT infrastructure related projects
    • Overall IT security management for the commission



Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks.


1. Provides expert level analysis of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.


2. Plans network layouts and configures systems to user environments.


3. Analyzes network topologies and traffic and capacity requirements.


4. Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.


5. May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users.


6. May perform network administration duties.


7. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced network personnel and may have supervisory responsibilities.


8. Serves as technical team or task leader.


9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.


10 Participates in special projects as required.

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or without degree 12 or more years of experience related to position
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust 



15-20 years of directly related experience in network analysis and design.
