Job Title : Assistant Resource Manager

Reports to: Government Service Europe Middle East and Africa Resource Manager
Based at: Leatherhead
Areas of Responsibility:
The Assistant Resourcing Manager will be part of the resourcing team whose role is to support the planning and management of Government Services (GS) resource needs within the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. They will be responsible for supporting managers in clarifying their resourcing needs, identify internal candidates and ensuring the recruitment process is followed where required. They will be required to work closely with HR and KBR’s in-house recruitment agency to ensure that they have the required information to process recruitment requests.

Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive situations
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams
Proficient emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, self-regulation & empathy
Proficiency with MS Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Experience in project management is beneficial
Working knowledge of Visio
Experienced with use of Social Media (i.e. LinkedIn) to create and maintain networks
3.Core Responsibilities and Duties
Implementation of the GS strategic resourcing objectives and execution plan.
Work to the Recruitment Process, making suggestions for improvement where necessary
Work closely with all areas of the GS business to ensure visibility of resource needs on a long term, weekly and ad hoc basis working in tandem with discipline leads to select and confirm resource decisions.
Work closely with department/functional area leads to support them with resource planning and development.
Responsible for tracking and reporting on availability and proactively acting upon utilization challenges.
Utilize all available Resource Management tools and social media to identify candidates and develop creative staffing solutions for open resource requests
Work closely with HR and TSR ensuring they are provided with the information they need to fulfil recruitment requests.
Propose staffing options to project assignment needs that align with skills, professional goals, and/or staffing preferences
Work closely with Human Resources who will conduct salary and contractual negotiations and arrange interviews and complete HR engagement processes.
