We are growing and GDIT has an immediate need for Job Mapping Specialists. GDIT is constantly bidding on new contracts, and a key part of a successful bid is determining the right labor categories to execute the mission. This role partners with the company’s Growth function to pursue new business opportunities for GDIT.

The Job Mapping Specialist will match government labor categories to internal GDIT titles as well as to appropriate Service Contract Act categories where appropriate. This requires a thorough analysis of job duties, the ability to find the best survey matches as well as accurate application of FLSA exemption tests. The ideal candidates will have experience in compensation (particularly job matching and survey participation), pricing or proposals, and a strong understanding of the Fair Labor Standards Act and Service Contract Act.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Map government contract labor categories to GDIT job titles
  • Apply FLSA exemption tests and map non-exempt jobs to the appropriate SCA categories
  • Provide market data and geographic salary differentials
  • Work directly with Pricing team and Program Managers to identify areas of concern and explain mapping decisions and FLSA/SCA implications
  • Maintain mapping files and related documentation
  • Support Compensation Department projects, including job description development and merit cycle administration.
  • Participate in special projects as needed, and perform other job related duties as required.
