Raytheon Space & Airborne Systems - Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) EW Electronic Protect Department is seeking talented and collaborative technical candidates to join the Multi-Function EW Systems Section to help delivers emerging and disruptive solutions to ensure warfighter advantage. The selected candidate will be given opportunities to engage in a variety of cutting edge and innovative technology development across the Advanced Concepts & Technology (ACT) business area.

This is an ideal position for a mid-career candidate who is eager to engage in multiple aspects of engineering scope. You will have an opportunity to contribute to research and development of advanced EW systems; and provide your Systems Engineering, Simulation and Modeling expertise to complex systems across the various stages of the product development life cycle.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Modeling and Simulation of radars including propagation models, flight path, and responses to jammer actions
  • Support algorithm developers, support standing HW test bed with similar capabilities as that of the M&S test bed
  • Support analysis of results of algorithms
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 6 years of related systems and/or software engineering experience, to include a strong background and experience with Modeling and Simulation
  • Requires a deep understanding of Radar Systems - modes of operation and processing capabilities
  • Strong software development in object oriented MATLAB
  • Occasional business travel is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with Active (or active within past 24 months) DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Experience addressing complex technical and operational issues
  • Strong background in Airborne Systems, Radar Signal Processing and Radar/Jammer Physics.
  • Software Development in C/C++ and Java
  • Some RF HW experience
  • Background in Electronic Warfare
Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics discipline.
Desired Education:
  • Master’s / PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics discipline
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
