General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate requirement for Scrum Masters to support ongoing efforts to implement the Agile Scrum Software Development Methodology across all projects.  These resources will increase the organization’s utilization and skills in agile methodology and agile development best practices and provide hands on assistance to project teams on setting up development projects using our customer’s standard toolsets (for example, VersionOne and the HP ALM tool suite).  Additionally the Scrum Masters will be responsible for mentoring the organization on agile methodology (Scrum, SAFE, and others as defined) and standard toolset.  These resources will also be used to help monitor the use of Agile in the various projects at each Solution Center to ensure consistency amongst the centers and to promote value driven development.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Scrum Master for R&TP
  • Lead Large Scale transformation of Agile Programs adopting Agile methodologies (aka Agile Acceleration)
  • Identify current Agile practices that need to change
  • Identify and consult on methods for Scaling Agile Practices to the Enterprise
  • Identify and consult on methods for Agile Program Planning involving multiple teams
  • Identify and consult on Agile metrics and Agile assessment methods
  • Develop and execute plan for Enterprise Agile Adoption at all levels of the organization
  • Recommend Agile change game plan
  • Address behavior changes
  • Train, coach to facilitate change
  • Assist with Metrics
  • Provide coaching to “non-Accelerator” projects as needed
  • Participate in the remodel of VersionOne (or equivalent tool experience) to aid the USPS transformation and so that, when coaching teams, can better direct their growth
  • Coach R&TP team to better their Agile skills and use of VersionOne
  • Participate with R&TP in planning and executing the Agile transformation for USPS
  • Define “multiplier” approach

 

We can only accept US citizens and or Green Card Holders.  The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years and not have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (5 plus years experience)
  • Agile Tool experience (VersionOne preferred, however, any tool)
  • Agile Transformations and Scaling Agile for a Large Enterprise
  • Agile Training/Coaching experience (3 plus years experience)
  • Leadership in Agile Transformation
  • Experience with Agile Metrics and Agile Assessment methods
  • Ability to travel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Release Train Engineer
  • Certified SAFe, Scaling Agile (or similar)
  • Experience with DevOps  
  • Conflict and Behavior Change management
  • BI Tools Experience (Qlik preferred)
  • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Suite – MicroFocus
  • Sonar
