The System Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) organization integrates all aspects of system validation, test, and analysis from initial system architecture, design and development, through system validation. The Tactical Radar System Department has overall responsibility for the system integration and test process, test facility management, as well as off-site system and flight test activities, analysis and test problem resolution.
This engineer will support the F/A-18 Domestic and Foreign Military Sales Radar development and production programs. The system engineer will support various engineering activities that include test and systems validation, modeling and simulation, requirements analysis, data analysis, flight test analysis and overall systems integration. You will work with team member of the Radar Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) efforts in the development and performance of the requirements established by the customer. Expect to plan and perform IV&V assignments which include collaborating with others in determining method of verification, generating test plans, verification procedures, developing analysis tools in Matlab, and documenting results in a test report. The engineer will work independently with general guidance provided by the task Lead on general objectives and details of unusual situations and /or requirements. The system engineer must be able to travel as required to support program requirements.
