Job Description
Protected Communication Systems (PCS) is looking for a financial leader to lead a portfolio of programs within the PCS product line. This leadership role will be responsible for $250M P&L and be a business partner with the PCS Airborne Programs Director. The role will provide people leadership, development, and direction for a team of 10 finance professionals. This role will lead internal & external earned value management activities, customer review, IPDS gate activities, quarterly estimates at complete (EAC), and all other program financial control activities. Additional responsibilities include the monthly forecasting process for the portfolio and ensuring monthly forecast accuracy and identification of risks and opportunities. Other planning responsibilities include the annual operating plan, five-year strategic plan, and the associated investments to support and drive those plans. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate results through predictable forecasts, tight R&O mgt, understood EAC packages, thorough Program Mgt. Reviews, and timely flow of information to management. The position will support proposal activities, monitor capital projects and other internal investment activities. The role will need to be able to communicate with all levels of management, operate in a dynamic team environment, and effectively team across functions to accomplish objectives.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (Internal And External)
  • P&L Management or Financial Planning Experience
  • Experience with managing DoD programs
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Desired Skills
  • Experience with ACAT 1 Programs
  • Experience with Production and/or Operations
  • A proven leader through IPDS Gate Requirements
  • Experience with interpreting and providing guidance on FAR/DFAR
  • Ability apply, interpret, and provide financial leadership on Raytheon Policies and Procedures
  • Excellent professional communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Ability to multi-task and be able to support a dynamic team environment
  • Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient with APEX/SAP/PRISM
  • EVMS Certified

  • Minimum : Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or Related Major
  • Desired : Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance
