The System Engineering Integration Test Center is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer for current and future implementations of RADAR Systems. The role includes performing performance analysis, requirements flow down, requirements management, developing test strategy, writing test plans, reviewing test data and presentations to customers. The Radar Systems Engineer will interface daily with the Lead System Engineer, Mode designers, and other technical leaders, as well as, other individual engineering contributors. The Radar Systems Engineer is responsible as for ensuring compliance to procurement specifications and will have internal and external communications. He or she is responsible for engineering input to all requirement and verification results and will ensure product integrity of the designs and reports and ensure all deliverables satisfy technical specifications, operational requirements and customer expectations.

The Radar Systems Engineer works with other assigned Systems Engineers to execute and deliver work products.
The Radar Systems Engineer is accountable for the quality of the work product deliverables.
The Radar Systems Engineer provides Engineering input to all decisions impacting product integrity. The Radar Systems Engineer participates in design and/or test reviews.
The Radar Systems Engineer supports coordination across program engineering to promote a culture of improving processes.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 6 years RADAR system experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is Required
  • Expertise in systems design & development
  • Experience with requirements generation, analysis & definition or verification and analysis
  • Expertise in modeling and simulation of RADAR system performance or analysis of live data
  • Executing task based work assignments with standard software development tools & Tracking tools such as DOORS

Desired Skills:
  • Mission & CONOPS analysis, system architecture & processing
  • Experience interfacing with the customer
  • Data Reduction and Data Analysis
  • Working knowledge of radars
  • Experience performing system level troubleshooting
  • Six Sigma practical knowledge and / or project experience desired (formal Six Sigma training or certification preferred).
  • Effectively interface with senior-level leaders, end users, analyst, and customer personnel in a diverse team setting
  • Works independently, determines & develops approaches to solutions to meet program objectives

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in engineering, math, or science. A Master’s degree is preferred 130505BR 130505
