Job Description: The SAS organization has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst II to join their team. The role offers a great opportunity to gain valuable SAS level experience and insight into how strategic management decisions impact the bottom line performance of the company.
GPD Analyst will be responsible for researching exception accounts (scrap, stock differences and excess), and providing daily/weekly reporting of GPD errors utilizing PRISM data.
GPD Analyst will be responsible for creating new group set-ups, ensuring correct grouping of operative WBS elements.
GPD Analyst will provide analysis of cost shifts, undistributed costs, contract status reports (labor and material pricing) and variance research.
GPD Analyst will provide support for all Project Closure activities.
GPD analyst will provide full service support to customers including interacting with various functions such as Production Control, Procurement, Program Finance, Program Management, and Logistics, to identify and resolve GPD errors and completing PRISM closures.
GPD Analyst will support any other required business objectives.
2+ years of related work experience.
Self-starter with good organizational skills and the ability to work with other Finance/Business team members.
Knowledge about the Manufacturing Process and Inventory Management.
Proficient working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Working knowledge of SAP.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Working knowledge of SAP to include the Grouping/Pegging and Distribution (GPD) reporting and analysis tasks.
Proficient working knowledge of the Material Management Accounting System and good understanding of Sarbanes Oxley compliance as it relates to Inventory Management.
Experience with Estimate at Complete and Earned Value.
Familiarity with SAP PRISM.
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
