Lead the supply chain proposal efforts for the program family under the Radar Sensor System (RSS) Product Line for the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISRS) business area within the Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) division. This position will be located in Dallas, Texas. This position is a member of the RSS Material Program Management (MPM) team and will provide SCM expertise and direction to MPM’s, Subcontract Managers, Buyers, Production Control Planners, Government Property, and Logistics personnel. This individual will act as the SC Lead / Focal for RSS proposal efforts & understand the group’s SCM needs, goals, and requirements and translate them into strategic and tactical plans that support successful SCM and Program execution. This position will facilitate the estimating, identification, and deployment of all required SCM resources, processes, and tools as necessary to the Program Office while ensuring alignment with the SAS business plans and goals.
Responsible for ensuring that RSS SCM strategies are deployed in all proposals supported by engaging SCM and IPT resources, processes, and tools. Effectively lead in the MPM role within the RSS program family ensuring deployment of SCM Best Practices, consistency of SCM practices, and to the extent possible Program Best Practices (EVMS, EAC, etc). Responsible for the overall material inputs & bid strategy for the Supply Chain function within RSS, including SCM inputs to Gate Reviews, Material Cost Summaries, Customer Request for Proposal (RFP) and flow through requirements, EVMS/EAC Reviews, and supplier risk management / mitigation plans. Engage with Supplier Chain Proposal Excellence (SCPX), Subcontract Management, other MPMs & the Bid & Proposal (B&P) team to successful support all proposal efforts for RSS. Actively participate in the strategy, operations, and business development planning/pursuits as required.
