Project Manager, Engineering

Under broad direction, this position has bottom line responsibility for the financial and technical success of the project. He/She has responsibility for all phases of project planning, detailed engineering execution, procurement and construction on chemical industry capital projects. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. The incumbent has responsibility for day to day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction. Possesses knowledge of and has experience in the engineering of general industrial plants with emphasis on chemical industry experience. Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders (structural, mechanical, process, electrical, control systems, project controls, procurement, and construction). May also serve as the proposal manager of domestic project proposals.


Planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company

Day to day contact and communication with clients and project teams

Managing project execution to contractual requirements (cost, schedule, functionality, etc)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required


years’ of engineering and construction industry experience


years’ experience managing projects in the chemical industry

Fabrication Module experience a plus

Experience managing capital projects up to $30MM

PMP certification preferred (will be required within one year of hire)
