Job Description


As a Process Improvement Analyst, you will have the opportunity to partner with key CSL Behring manufacturing departments to provide innovative solutions to process improvement challenges, coach and mentor site team members and have opportunities to expand your Lean experience.


Main Responsibilities


1. Responsible for supporting the planning, execution and closure of cross-functional and process improvement projects. Participate in project teams as a team leader, team member, coach or facilitator depending on the project requirements, resource availability and technical expertise

2. Conduct collaborative process & data analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align teams, operations, processes and technology with overall site KPIs and improvement initiatives

3. Manage project timelines, including the identification, communication, monitoring, and managing of risks to process improvement changes

4. Demonstrated ability to identify improvement opportunities by reviewing business processes, data, operational metrics and internal/external feedback. Experience participating on or leading an F.I Pillar is preferred.

5. Facilitate studies of operations and workflow processes in order to contribute to the development of appropriate countermeasures, while focusing on productivity and work methods to reduce costs, improve customer experience, and to improve safety.

6. Collaborate with teams from various departments to conduct fact gathering and analysis sessions necessary to document and quantify identified operational excellence initiatives

7. Create, update and/or maintain related documentation from process improvement initiatives

8. Ability to analyze varied courses of action and lead process flow mapping, data gathering (discovery), root cause analysis sessions in a manufacturing environment

9. Ability to plan, assign and oversee the work of cross-functional teams and communicate changes and facilitate implementation of improvements in a manufacturing environment

10. Strong communication & presentation skills, able to work well with diverse groups, comfortable interacting with all levels

11. Ability to learn new concepts and transfer prior experience to the CSL Simply Excellent methods, apply analytical thinking, execute multiple tasks and prioritize projects with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills

12. Demonstrated effective team building facilitation

13. Excel at building relationships and selling the importance of Continuous Improvement

14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through employee training, mentoring and coaching while focusing on operational efficiency & elimination of loss improvement initiatives.

16. Complies with requirements from CSL Behringâ??s Safety Program, including Health and Safety mandates and OSHA requirements.

17. Completes any other duties/responsibilities assigned by senior management.


Education


Bachelorâ??s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Engineering related field or 8+ years of experience leading, coaching, mentoring teams and individuals in LEAN Manufacturing concepts and processes.


Experience

â?¢6+ years of experience & knowledge with the principles of Process improvement & Lean Transformation methodology (DMAIC, Lean, TPM) in a Lean Manufacturing environment
â?¢3-4 years of experience leading, coaching, mentoring teams and individuals in LEAN Manufacturing concepts and processes.
â?¢2+ years of Project Management experience
â?¢2+ years of experience with analyzing manufacturing data to identify insights and opportunities for improvements
â?¢Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
â?¢Prefer: Experience with Visio & SharePoint
â?¢Ability to work a professional work schedule with non-regular hours, as required.
