ABOUT THIS POSITION

As airport noise management program manager a strong, organizational, problem solving, interpersonal skills are vital to be effective. Overall responsibilities include:

Overall management of the Residential Sound Insulation Program and the onsite project office.

Program start-up and staffing skills

Coordination of all daily operations of the noise mitigation program, including acquisition and relocation and demolition, the coordination of aviation easements and appropriate acoustical treatments.

Interaction with homeowners and tenants to determine their interest in the program and their eligibility

Daily coordination with subcontractors and sub-consultants

Preparation of program status reports and other required documentation

Delivery of Quarterly presentations to the airport commission, regional council and FAA

Performance of weekly construction meetings

Preparation of bid packages for land acquisition and acoustical treatments

Bid review and recommendation

Supervision of acoustical testing before and after modifications are preformed

Experience with application of FAA Grants, State Grants and complete payments requests for both

Maintenance of financial reports and close out documentation

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

years experience

Bachelor Degree preferred; but not required
