SAIC is currently looking for technical, analytic, and subject matter expertise who are interested in supporting the Headquarters, United States Air Force (HAF) in providing analytic support to Air Force leadership to execute an integrated, enterprise approach to designing the future Air Force. The SAIC Team will support the Air Force with innovative solutions that help inform and guide decision-making on the design and integration of Air Force capabilities.


SAIC will provide support to the Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability (AFWIC), AF/A5A with strategy development; operational concept development; operational challenge studies; operational/regional politico-military analysis; capability assessments; war and mobility planning support; requirements development; and integration of these efforts across the Air Force enterprise and joint communities.


Job Description:


  • SAIC is seeking a Military Design Blueprint Analyst to support the Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability (AFWIC) mission.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Determines types and capacities of systems (aircraft, spacecraft, sensors, missiles, etc), infrastructure (bases, ranges, launch complexes, etc), and/or human capital (people, education, skills, etc) the future force needs to meet National Defense Strategy according to future concepts.
  • Conducts, leads, or directs studies and analyses.
  • Collects and synthesizes results of studies and analyses.
  • Prepares written presentations and written reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborates across the Design Blueprint team to define overall "force we need".


Required Education and Experience:


  • 6+ years of experience as a government analyst.
  • 5+ years of experience with strategic planning, strategic development, operational concept development, operational challenge studies or strategic assessments. 
  • Knowledge of the Air Force's Strategy, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (SPPBE) processes is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience. Master’s Degree is a plus.
