Description

SAIC is currently looking for technical, analytic, and subject matter expertise who are interested in supporting the Headquarters, United States Air Force (HAF) in providing analytic support to Air Force leadership to execute an integrated, enterprise approach to designing the future Air Force. The SAIC Team will support the Air Force with innovative solutions that help inform and guide decision-making on the design and integration of Air Force capabilities.

 

SAIC will provide support to the Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability (AFWIC), AF/A5A with strategy development; operational concept development; operational challenge studies; operational/regional politico-military analysis; capability assessments; war and mobility planning support; requirements development; and integration of these efforts across the Air Force enterprise and joint communities.

 


Job Description:

 

  • SAIC is seeking a Strategic Communications Lead to support the Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability (AFWIC) mission.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Develops strategies and activities that integrate organization performance objectives and individual competencies.
  • Establishes, revises, or reviews policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organizational design for the staff, as necessary, to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, implement quality improvements, or in response to concerns with regulatory compliance and/or customer requirements.
  • Provides Division/Directorate Chiefs, supervisors, and staff with direction and advice regarding interpersonal and team dynamics in support of effective operations at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a strategic leader.
  • Experience with performing baseline assessments designing a communications approach, and implementing a communications plan.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience.
  • Desired degree in Journalism or Communication related field.
