SAIC is currently looking for technical, analytic, and subject matter expertise who are interested in supporting the Headquarters, United States Air Force (HAF) in providing analytic support to Air Force leadership to execute an integrated, enterprise approach to designing the future Air Force. The SAIC Team will support the Air Force with innovative solutions that help inform and guide decision-making on the design and integration of Air Force capabilities.
SAIC will provide support to the Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability (AFWIC), AF/A5A with strategy development; operational concept development; operational challenge studies; operational/regional politico-military analysis; capability assessments; war and mobility planning support; requirements development; and integration of these efforts across the Air Force enterprise and joint communities.
SAIC is seeking a Decision Analytics Analyst to support the Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability (AFWIC) mission.
Leads studies addressing the informational needs within AFWIC.
Develops sound study plans and reports, conducts analyses, and monitors/supervises data collection events (simulations, games, experiments).
Manages team resources to accomplish assigned study tasks.
Develops tools and methods to support studies as required.
Maintains awareness of external analysis capabilities.
Coordinates external analysis support.
Monitors efforts to ensure the results support AFWIC with timely and accurate analysis.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience
At least 5 years of experience in the analysis and interpretation of data collection events (simulations, games, experiments).
Experience in the preparation of briefings and reports.
Excellent analytical thought process and collaborative skills
Must have strong writing / reporting and verbal communication skills
Must be able to perform in a high- pressure fast-paced environment
Must be able to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies
