Job Summary
 
Responsible to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the effective management of the DRMO Processing Center and Holding Area supporting the Category II Satellite supply account.  Carries out all duties in accordance with DynCorp International ISO 9001 Quality and Safety Standards..
 
Principle Accountabilities
  • Ensures that all property turned into DRMO is properly identified and tagged to reflect the demilitarization code, serial number, NSN or part number.
  • Ensures separate storage locations are established for DEMIL codes, serviceable property (must be protected from the environment), and scrap materiel.
  • Ensures proper coordination of disposal actions for WRM equipment with CENTAF/LGSME.
  • Validates all yard locations and ensures the yard is properly prepared for inventory and assists inventory personnel when necessary.
  • Directs the processing of all non-stock numbered items into the DRMS-I Electronic Turn-in Document (ETID) System and SBSS computer generated documents (A5J’s) and clears rejects when necessary.   Also assists in the updating of WRMMS records when necessary.
  • Coordinates with:
    • Contracting to request commercial trucks to line haul property to DRMS-I Staging areas for the entire AOR.
    • Site administration to process gate passes to get the commercial trucks on site.
    • Security to open the security gates to let the commercial trucks on/off site.
  • Serves as the Point of Contact (POC) between DynCorp and DRMS-I on DRMO procedures.
  • Trains, provides assistance and procedures for the handling of DRMO property for the contract.
  • Develops the standards for maintaining accountable records for all DPC transactions.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics, Air Force property accounting through manual or automated systems and SBSS policies and procedures. 
  • Must be computer literate with emphasis on excel, access databases, and other Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment up to 10K forklift.  
  • Must be capable of driving a light vehicle to move property to the DRMO yard.
Experience & Education
  • Five years experience operating within a SBSS system, with two years as an inspector and experience in the application of DRMSI and Air Force directives. 
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
  • Must be able to work out of doors for extended period.
  • Must be able to work in warehouse environment.
