Raytheon Global BusinessServices(GBS)has an opening in Facilities for an experienced Facilities Operations Specialist with a maintenance background. The operations specialist will manage site maintenance and repair activities, respond to trouble calls and customer requests, and coordinate daily maintenance and operations activities in the assigned areas.


  • Operate, troubleshoot and coordinate the repair and maintenance of site infrastructure and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and controls systems
  • Monitor and inspect building systems to ensure safe and proper operation
  • Maintain systems documentation including code compliance records, maintenance & repair history, and safety audit records
  • Communicate in a professional manner with coworkers, subcontractors, customers, and site management
  • Perform other general plant and building maintenance duties as required
  • Strongcommitment tosafety,ethics, and quality
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in site facilities
  • Current Journeyman electrical or plumbing license – state of Texas
  • Experience with scheduling, coordinating, and managing maintenance and repair activities, including system shutdowns and startups
  • Proven problem solving skills relating to troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledgeof city, state,andfederalcodesconcerningfacilitiesand electrical work,including local buildingcodes, the National Electric Code, andOSHAregulations
  • Strong commitment to safety, ethics, and quality
  • Read and understand floorplans,schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction/shopdrawings
  • Safely navigate a variety of work areas, including ladders, roofs, elevated platforms and confined spaces
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

  • Maintenance team leadership experience
  • Current TS security clearance
  • Plan,forecast,and managebudgets and schedules for small to medium jobs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Experience with maintenance management database systems
