The Advanced Electro-Optical and Mission Systems (AEO&MS) Department is currently in need for a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support the development and build of advanced electro-optical systems. The systems engineer will be part of a team building electro-optical systems including imagers, passive/active EO tracking, ladar, and directed energy systems. The systems engineer will be responsible for assessing systems performance, developing test requirements, writing test procedures, and supporting the design, build, and test efforts. The role involves being able to design tests and run tests that characterize the system and analyze impacts to performance parameters such as geolocation/LOS, spatial resolution, Wave Front Error (WFE), beam quality, and spectral response. The role also involves familiarity of verification and test activities and to assist in system performance experiments in the lab and in the field.
This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.
