Job Title: JATS Senior Test Lead

Geographic Location: Falls Church, VA

GDIT has an upcoming opening for a senior software test engineer to lead all phases of testing clinical and medical support applications managed by the JOMIS program Office to include legacy TMIP-J systems such as TC2, AHLTA-T, MCC and TMDS, as well as the Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Henry Schein Dental applications from The MHS Genesis solution that will be JOMIS Increment 1 release for Military Operational Medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with the Government test team and Program Management Office.
  • Manage the development of test plans for each software release of TMIP-J clinical applications to include outlining test scope, specific requirements to be tested, test methodology, environment, participant roles and responsibilities, documentation requirements, test scenarios and procedures, automated scripts, and test data to be used in conducting the test.
  • Oversee test execution of each software release scheduled in the Government test environment to include system integration testing, end-to-end regression testing, and cyber security testing
  • Provide verification and validation of the TMIP and JOMIS suite of applications developed and/or maintained for each specific service branch to include Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force to ensure the delivered product fulfills its intended use, in its intended environment.
  • Work with software engineers, system analysts and system engineers to remediate software bugs and perform multiple test cycles.
  • Participate in product design reviews based on in-depth understanding of functional requirements.
  • Assist with the analysis and resolution of trouble calls using the REMEDY automated customer service tool.
  • Work with PM and other team leads to develop detailed project plans and provide continued updates

  • Identify program risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation to include, system design, end user training and systems administration.
  • Work in collaboration w incident manager, configuration manager, software lead

Required Qualifications:

 

  • 10 years of experience providing testing of DoD electronic health record (EHR) and web based applications
  • Experience with automated test tools including IBM Jazz
  • Experience with Software Code Quality Checking (SCQC) tools such as Sonar, Cast and HP Fortify
  • Expert knowledge of all elements of System Development Lifecycle including system definition, development, Design, analysis & control, integration and testing
  • Expertise in developing project schedules, identifying and managing risk and identifying possible mitigations
  • Expertise in both the protection of privacy related information, and the data flow management inherent within integrated health systems
  • Expertise with the testing and release of standard clinical updates to include ICD-10
  • Proven understanding of TMIP-J family of systems
  • IAT Level II with Sec+
  • Proven ability to work independently and in an integrated team environment
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with testing and/or deployment and support of TC2, AHLTA-T or TMDS
  • Understanding and experience with MCC or another mobile HER solution such as AHLTA Mobile or Battlefield Medical Information System Theater (BMIST)
  • Ideally these individuals should have a deep understanding of military operational medicine to include delivery of health services in a variety of deployed environments to include field and combat support hospitals, amphibious assault and hospital ships, and air evacuation platforms.
  • Certification in Agile or Six Sigma
  • Experience with Cerner or similar commercial suite of clinical applications and
