Job Description:

SAIC has a career opportunity for a Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of USMC for our customer in Charleston, SC.


The Cyber SME will be responsible for prevention of damage to, protection of, and restoration of computers, electronic communications systems, electronic communications services, wire communication, and electronic communication, including information contained therein, to ensure its availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and nonrepudiation.


The SME shall perform tasks to ensure Navy applications, systems, and networks satisfy Federal/DoD/DON/Navy cybersecurity requirements.


The SME will work with Cybersecurity; RMF Packages; Encyrption; Help government marshal 3 RMF packages (DIACAP)through accreditation process; Help government marshal 3 RMF packages through accreditation process; Operate as Cyber SME for IdOps Program; Provide guidance and support to Government Cyber Lead.






Basic Education/Experience Requirements:

  • BS degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer Engineering; or Computer Science. 
  • Ten (10) years of experience in Engineering, Systems Analysis, Information Assurance, or Engineering Management to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements.
  • Five (5) years of technical experience in support of Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of Biometric / Forensic Systems. Note: Experience may be concurrent.
