SAIC is building a team to migrate, implement and launch Microsoft SharePoint for the National Institute of Health. The Software Engineer/Developer will design, enhance, implement and maintain SharePoint sites and applications ensuring access, reliability, availability and usability to current and new users. Also, they will develop new SharePoint sites/sub-sites, applications and enhancements as well as integrate SharePoint with processes, workflows, e-mail alerts, data visualization, relational database management and/or data hub to connect multiple data sources for business intelligence.
The Sr SW Developer also:
Works with PM to create and implement a plan to support NIH SharePoint activities.
Orchestrates performance testing and strategies.
Has knowledge of SharePoint lists, workflows, groups, permissions and security, reporting capabilities, custom web parts and web services.
Writes technical documentation and training guides.
Has experience with complete application development life-cycle including requirements gathering, analysis and design, coding, testing and deployment.
Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be a quick learner, resourceful, and able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Has excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
Ensures software standards are met.
This position requires remote/telework. On occasion, candidate will need to travel in to the client sites for meetings
Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
3+ years in MS SharePoint development
5+ years of Software Development experience using .NET
Experience using SharePoint Designer to create custom forms, workflows, web parts, and solutions.
Experience modifying HTML and CSS.
Microsoft Certifications or Qualifications
