The Cyber Engineering Department in the Systems Engineering Integration and Test Directorate is seeking an individual to join the Cyber Security Engineering team to support customers in Information Assurance and the development of custom solutions. This is a matrix position and requires strong technical and leadership skills to work with geographically dispersed teams and guide work products through the systems engineering lifecycle, including accreditation, sustainment, and services. The position will be geographically located in Dulles, VA and will require occasional travel. This is a Team Lead position; the selected candidate will manage direct reports and be expected to be the “voice” of IIS Cyber Systems Engineering while away from direct leadership and act as their proxy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of professionals to completing specific deliverables in the areas of incident security response, vulnerability management, cybersecurity assessments, data-mining/business-intelligence foundations, and security product deployments
• Participate in service and process management executing while overseeing team documentation to provide streamlined execution for customers
• Own and be accountable for all cyber security lifecycle artifacts and tasks
• Work closely with program managers to ensure customer satisfaction
• Interface with customers and users to build relationships and develop roadmaps and product ideas for meeting their needs
• Maintain a professional attitude, to serve as an example to the team, with team members, internal and external customers
• Work closely with the Cybersecurity Department Manager in support of IIS goals/objectives

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. CITIZEN with an active Secret clearance

Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
• Currently hold at least one (1) industry-standard information security management certification from a vendor or product neutral certification entity (e.g. ISC2, ISACA, GIAC). Certification must meet the requirements of IA Manager (IAM) Level II, as prescribed by DOD 8570.1-M, Information Assurance Improvement Program
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and successfully delivering programs to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO)
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience leading teams performing hardware/ software/system development, testing, and deployment
• Strong understanding of security design and architecture
• Must be a self-starter capable of multitasking and efficiently managing time in a dynamic environment
• Must have a current active Secret clearance

Desired Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
• Experience in two or more of the following technical areas: Risk Management Framework, Virtualization, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, Database Management, Software Development, Integration
• Ability to work in a team environment and work collaboratively across traditional engineering disciplines
• Raytheon experience and knowledge of engineering processes

Education Requirements:
Eight (8) years with a BS in Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related area; or Six (6) years with a MS in Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related area
