Job Description:
Raytheon IIS is seeking a hardware assembly technician with experience integrating COTS hardware into modern datacenters as well as custom containers. The qualified candidate will be tasked with assembly of component hardware into racks and custom enclosures, as well as cable plant installation. Candidates must have an existing US Government Secret security clearance.

Note: Candidates with a current Secret Security Clearance or higher are eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus if the clearance is confirmed and the candidate is hired by Raytheon

Required Skills:

  • Existing US Government Secret clearance
  • Ability to assemble component hardware in COTS and custom racks based on engineering drawings
  • Ability to understand cable assembly lists and install cables per design
  • Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and connectivity issues using laboratory test equipment
  • Experience performing site surveys related to system integration
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to support site installation activities
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of drawing standards and specifications such as ASME-Y14.100
  • Ability to fabricate common cable terminators
  • Experience updating engineering facility and rack elevations with as-built configuration changes
Required Education:
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of related work experience or an Associate’s Degree and 8 years’ related work experience or 12 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree 130443BR 130443
