The Engineering & IT (E&IT) Finance Department has an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to support a Functional Directorate in Engineering. RMS Engineering employs approximately 6,800 people and is divided into technical Directorates ranging in size between 400 and 1400 employees. The role will support an Engineering Director and their senior staff of Center Managers and Department Managers. This position involves management of all aspects of Engineering Finance such as manpower forecasting, indirect budgets management, IOT's, Corporate wide Engineering Projects, Section Head support, process improvement and overall management of business related tasks. In addition, this analyst is responsible to work with the Directorate employees to ensure compliance with CAS, FAR and Raytheon Policies.

The goal of the Engineering organization is to strengthen systems design and integration, improve total life cycle accountability for performance, schedule and cost in support of the evolution of the RMS business strategy. Therefore we are looking for a strong analyst to continue helping shape the future of the RMS Engineering & IT Finance support organization.

Minimum Required Skills:

  • Bachelors’ degree, Acceptable majors include: Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics and Mathematics or a related field and 4 years finance/accounting experience , or Master degree and 2 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex financial scenarios.

  • Familiar with indirect budgets & manpower planning
Highly Desired Skills:
  • 6 years finance/accounting experience
  • Ability to work with teams to arrive at process improvements
  • Familiar with the 5 year planning process
  • Working knowledge & experience with Earned Value concepts
  • Familiar with the IOT process
  • Program finance experience
  • Working knowledge of the EAC process
