Job Description

Raytheon IDS Operations has an exciting opportunity for a manufacturing professional to thrive in a matrixed organization. In this role, you will support the IAMD BMC4I Production and Spares programs. Grow your skills in operations management, technical operations, business communications, and leadership. Coordinating with the Core Execution Team (CET), Manufacturing Work Centers, and other Cross Business Teams (CBT) to ensure successful on time integration of the material and labor efforts necessary to support manufacturing and contract schedules.
Responsible for all phases of Operations Management by working within an Integrated Product Team/Cross Business Team (IPT/CBT) environment to ensure effective execution of Patriot Production and Spares programs. Responsibilities of this role include coordinating the program schedules with the CET and CBT’s. This role requires daily interaction with other CBT’s in IDS (Integrated Defense Systems)to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. Other focus areas of this position include cost, quality, delivery, safety, and identification/implementation of continuous improvement opportunities that are critical performance criteria for success.

This position can be a Salary Grade G07 or Salary Grade G08 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience preferably working in an Operations Management or in an Integrated Product Team/Cross Business Team (IPT/CBT) environment
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in a Matrix Organization with multiple customers
  • Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing
  • Knowledge of aerospace /defense systems technology domains and manufacturing
  • Proven experience in developing manufacturing strategies and proposals
  • Proven ability to prepare and present reports and briefings
  • Experience in developing, supporting and maintaining strong relationships w/respective program IBT lead/team as well as end using customer
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven EVMS (Earned Value Management System) experience.
  • Understanding of MRP and Shop Floor Management Tools (PRISM, VM)

Required Education (including Major):

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred fields but not limited to: Engineering; Operations Mgmt; Business Mgmt, Finance)
