Job Description:

The candidate will function as the lobby receptionist and their main duties will be to greet visitors and to perform access control functions for employees, visitors, and members of the public through detailed observations and validation of credentials. Other responsibilities will include; approving all visits through the Visitor Registration System (VRS), sending and tracking post foreign visit questionnaires, conducting bag checks, and ordering supplies. Other duties and tasks will be added by the hiring manager on an as-needed basis, such as assisting with container audits and back filling office personnel.

Must have strong telephone skills, present a neat and professional appearance and be able to implement Security directives and procedures in a firm, yet professional, customer based manner.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skills:
  • Some experience in Security and/or customer service.
  • Familiarity with JPAS and VRS
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of work experience
