Please Note: This position can be a Salary Grade G09 or Salary Grade G10 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
The Value Stream Manager (VSM) is responsible for all manufacturing related activities within a production or depot manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will report to the Factory Manager and be accountable for the strategic execution and daily support management and of up to 25 support employees within one shift. The VSM will be tasked to define clear operational schedules, priorities, goals, and collaborate with functional management to allow for continuous manufacturing of line-flow or end-item products. Additionally the VSM will have accountability for production, development, and depot deliveries, provide technical direction to salary support, and safety within their factory area.
The candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast paced deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in both manufacturing and technical leadership roles. The candidate must currently have a DoD Secret Clearance or have ability to obtain a clearance. Additionally, the candidate will have working knowledge of Test Prove-in and development program work. Also, the candidate will be able to provide technical direction and guidance to cross-functional (Operations, Engineering, Test Equipment, etc.) salary support and be the key interface to the Program Operations team.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions - Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
