Supervise 10-20 assembly operators, test technicians, and inspectors. Available to work all (3) Shifts. Coordinate productivity improvement studies for an advanced manufacturing facility and be a change agent for a continuously improving production environment. Will develop and maintain performance data to optimize the performance of the team. Candidate will be tasked with implementing continuous improvement methods utilizing lean manufacturing principles, and be capable of motivating their team to be involved in these improvements.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant operations experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience with lean implementation and information technology systems
  • Strong people leadership, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong team and individual developmental skills (Coaching for Success), in support of customer concerns
  • Ability to think strategically and determine long-term impact of decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to achieve goals of improved efficiency and low assembly costs
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Six Sigma process improvement experience
  • SAP work experience

Required Education: Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years leadership/supervisory experience
