Job Description:
Oversight of the 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) McKinney Logistics Operations including Receiving, Customer Service, Kitting and Government Furnished Material (GFM) functions. Work with our 3PL provider’s Leadership Team to identify, design, and implement process and system improvements for safety, waste reduction, productivity increases, and quality improvements. Function as the primary interface between Raytheon internal customers and our 3PL operations team.

Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of daily activity for the Receiving, Customer Service, Kitting and Government Furnished Material (GFM) teams
  • Reviewing and Monitoring adherence to operating policies and procedures
  • Review monthly performance metrics to support functional ops processes
  • Liaison between Operations and Logistics
  • PRISM troubleshooting for Texas Logistics
  • RayTrak Subject Matter Expert and technical lead for SAS Logistics (All Regions)

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 4 years of Logistics or Supply Chain work experience
  • Experience with technical issues associated with logistics requirements
  • Working knowledge of PRISM as it relates to Inventory and Warehouse management
  • Ability to effectively drive positive change in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Experience working with a 3PL
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance
  • Written and verbal communication skills adequate to address issues with Raytheon internal customers and on site DCMA customers.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with third party logistics and other business process outsourcing
  • Ability to accurately model cost, quality, schedule and safety impacts of process changes
  • Ability to produce a concise and comprehensive business case and presentation associated with any appropriate process improvement
  • Familiarity with SAP inventory and warehouse management and outbound logistics systems/RAYTrak
