ABOUT THIS POSITION
Primary responsibilities are to perform tasks related to Assessment & Authorization (A&A) within the Defense Health Agency Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure Department of Defense (DoD) systems/enclaves/networks to obtain and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO), Authorization to Operate with Conditions (ATO-C), Program Office Support, Annual Reviews along with developing and enforcing policies within DHA guidelines. Conduct initial assessments of DoD systems provide feedback, set up, and conduct meetings regularly. Daily responsibilities consist of tracking all communication between system program offices, vendors, DHA leadership, Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) leadership, company leadership, PMO Support and Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) leads through the use of email and in DHA’s databases.
The position will be part of a team developing recommended courses of action using available resources and critical thinking to improve current policies and procedures to the DHA estimate and RMF approval processes. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and delivering validation and PMO Support estimates for over 550 DoD medical devices, applications, enclaves and Local Area Networks (LANs).
That candidate will develop solutions to complex problems for a wide range of issues. Provide solutions to the DHA Change Control Board (CCB) when necessary. The team member will be required to serve as a primary point of contact for over 550 DoD medical devices, applications, enclaves, and LANs throughout DHA’s cost estimate and RMF processes. The team member will also be required to provide accurate near-real-time feedback for all systems tracked systems to leadership and owning program offices.
BS degree and two (2) years of experience with Information Technology/Information Assurance or five (5) years of hands-on experience with technology/Information Assurance information systems.
Must possess CompTIA Security
OS Certification/Approved training completed within 180 days of hire
Active Secret clearance.
Experience with DIACAP and RMF in DHA a plus
Experience with Accreditation package management in eMASS a plus
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Ability to control and conduct meetings
Develop and conduct training
Analyze networking diagrams
Understand R & D concepts
Familiarity with Guidance
Risk Management Framework
