The Close in Defense Systems (CIDS) Portfolio is seeking to hire a Program Manager to manage the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) at Raytheon Missile Systems located in Louisville, Kentucky. The CIDS portfolio consists of three main products: Land Based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS), SeaRAM, and Phalanx.
This position has responsibility for execution and support of the CIDS portfolio. They are responsible for the execution of the CIDS Appropriation Request (AR) and the management of residual material across all domestic and international contracts, which is valued at over $40M.
They will be required to coordinate DMS material strategies across multiple contracts and customers, including Program Executive Office (PEO) IWS11, NAVSUP, and multiple Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) international customers. This position is required to lead and influence a team of cross-functional individuals including representatives from Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Contracts.
The role requires effective communication to senior leadership, addressing concerns, and collaborating with customers while maintaining a strong customer relationship. Additional duties include proposal development, tracking of contract financial performance, and leading and/or participating in special projects for problem solution development within the Phalanx Program. This position will require travel periodically and the successful candidate must be able to obtain/possess a security clearance.
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor’s degree in non-technical related field, but preference of concentration in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
