This is an IT position supporting the Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems community in El Segundo (California).
We are searching for a System Administrator with expertise building and maintaining a SIPRNet secure communication network. SIPRNet experience is a strict requirement for this opportunity.
The candidate is responsible for support, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and software related to a SIPRNet secure communication network.


  • Maintain a SIPRNet secure communications network, including computing hardware, software, and applications
  • Ensure compliance with security and performance requirements
    • Candidate must be familiar with NISPOM, RMF, DISA STIGs, and NIST
  • Maintain and grow technical competence in multiple areas (such as Windows, Linux, virtualization, User Authentication, DNS, NFS, system imaging/build automation, cloud)
  • Assure a high level of reliability and performance through systems monitoring

Required Skills:
  • This position requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance as of day one of employment. Top Secret Interim will also be accepted.
  • ACAS and HBSS training completed or ability to complete within 6-months. .
  • IAT Level II Cert (CCNA Security, CySA+, GIC SP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)
    • IAT Level III Preferred
  • Window OS Certification
  • Experience supporting NIPRNet/SIPRNet and technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of operating system concepts and implementations
  • Strong understanding of network services as related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, GC, DNS, DHCP, CIFS, etc.)
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Required Education: Bachelor's in a STEM-related discipline and 4 years of relevant experience
