Job Description:
The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Department is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer committed and passionate about creating innovative and cost-effective EW Systems Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions.

The Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) EW organization is accountable for IV&V test designs, and develops unique solutions for assessing EW system performance. It performs test definition, design, development, integration and build of EW equipment and related Test and Evaluation Strategies, including and the corresponding planning and execution of detailed IV&V plans for Raytheon’s SAS business unit. SEIT EW solutions can include models, simulations and special test equipment designed specifically to stimulate, interrogate and instrument our EW Systems.

The Systems Integration & Test Engineer will participate in the conduct of an Integrated Systems IV&V Program:

  • Verify requirements that require test or demonstration as the verification method.
  • The tests will address function and performance at the Aircraft / Air Vehicle systems level.
  • Interfaces to the host vehicle will be simulated as necessary.
  • Product level tests that are covered in other test plans and procedures in this contract need not be repeated in the Integrated Systems Test plans and procedures.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience including Integration & Test (I&T).
  • Experience integrating electronic or electromechanical equipment or systems-oriented products.
  • Experience with test equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests.
  • Works under general supervision and follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and adequacy.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance on Day 1 of start date.
  • U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in test execution and the use of test performance metrics.
  • Experience with technology development, product strategies and innovation capability.
  • Experience with supporting proposals and Business Decision Gates to ensure technical and execution feasibility.
  • Experience with test document preparation and/or revision.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling activities.
  • Experience with security requirements related to government testing.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET approved college or university.

Desired Education: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET approved college or university.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
